Classic Samaná

Join us for an unforgettable experience through the Caribbean’s natural beauty. Your day begins with a convenient hotel pick-up in Punta Cana between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM. After a scenic 1.5-hour ride, we’ll arrive at the port of Las Cañitas to enjoy a tropical breakfast. Then, board a catamaran and cross the Samaná Bay to reach the colorful town of Santa Bárbara de Samaná.

From there, hop on a safari-style truck and enjoy the stunning mountain views as we make our way to a local ranch. Saddle up for a horseback ride through lush jungle trails that lead to the stunning El Limón waterfall, where you’ll have time to swim in its crystal-clear waters.

After returning from the waterfall, we’ll head to the center of Samaná for a delicious buffet lunch featuring fresh fish, chicken, rice, beans, and traditional Dominican flavors.

The adventure continues as we cruise to the idyllic island of Cayo Levantado (also known as Bacardi Island). Sip a welcome drink and relax under the shade of a coconut palm before we sail back to the mainland and return to your hotel.

Hotel pick-up from Punta Cana.

8:30 AM
Arrival at Las Cañitas port and tropical breakfast.

9:00 AM
Board the catamaran and begin the journey across Samaná Bay.

10:00 AM
Arrive at Santa Bárbara de Samaná. Transfer to safari truck and ride to the ranch.

10:45 AM
Horseback ride to El Limón Waterfall.

11:30 AM
Free time at the waterfall for swimming and exploring.

12:30 PM
Return to Samaná town for buffet lunch.

2:00 PM
Board the boat to Cayo Levantado (Bacardi Island).

2:30 PM – 4:00 PM
Relaxation time at the beach on Cayo Levantado.

4:00 PM
Return boat trip to the mainland and transfer back to Punta Cana.

Approx. 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Arrival back at hotel.
